The GoForward Gahanna
strategic plan includes strategic result 5.5: Recurring Citizen Survey. Per the plan, by 2017, Gahanna residents will experience a responsive government that measures citizen satisfaction and concerns in a statistically valid & actionable manner every 3 years.
In August and September, 2016, Gahanna administered the National Citizen Survey, a statistically valid and nationally bench-marked survey of Gahanna residents that focused on three pillars of livable communities: Community Characteristics, Governance and Participation. Of the 1,800 randomly sampled households, 633 surveys were completed, providing a 4% margin of error.
