Big Walnut Creek Family Canoe Float
This day will start at Woodside Green Park with an American Canoe Association instructor, Zac Guthrie providing a Paddling Smartstart introduction. The float will begin at Woodside Green and conclude at Pizzurro Park. Appropriate for ages 8 and older, participants 17 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Enjoy a light lunch at Creekside, canoes, life vests, paddles, and tour guides are included. Our adventure will end with transportation back to Woodside Green Park.

Gahanna Parks & Recreation has collaborated with the Columbus Metropolitan Library and Gahanna School students to present the Gahanna Story Trail. The new Story Trail provides and engaging opportunity for visitors to learn the value of being good stewards to the environment as they walk and read the story. "Following a Feather Friend" and original story written by: Juli Lindenmayer - Lincoln Highschool, Emerson Fry - Gahanna Middle School West, Rebekah Nolette - Homeschool, Carson Wolf - Jefferson Elementary, Kendall Hitler - Highpoint Elementary and illustrated by Gahanna students. The Story Trail is also a part of the Gahanna Library's Summer Reading Program that encourages families to engage in he outdoors through reading. The Story Trail is open when Friendship Park is open.

Gahanna Lions Club presents the Fourth of July Parade
The Fourth of July parade will be Saturday, July 4 at 10:30am.
The parade begins near Clark Hall on Granville Street and ends at Royal Manor Plaza on Stygler Road. Citizens
of Gahanna are invited to enter a float, marching unit, vehicles, bikes
or a combination of all in the annual 4th of July Parade. Questions

Paws in the Plaza
Join other dogs as they bring their owners to stroll though the paths, river walks, paddleboats, pet friendly shops, and visiting vendors, businesses and rescues in downtown Olde Gahanna. Enjoy special treats, free nail trimmings. giveaways and more! This event is organized by the Olde Gahanna Community Partnership.
