2006 Master Plan & 2015 Master Plan Update
Click here to view the initial survey results summary as part of the Updated Parks & Recreation Master Plan. The survey was completed in March and April 2013. Two thousand surveys were mailed to a random sample of households in the City of Gahanna. Seven hundred and forty-five (745) were returned, a 37% sampling.
In June 2006, the City of Gahanna adopted the Comprehensive Parks &
Recreation Master Plan, to guide the decision-making process related to
programs, policies, operations, maintenance and capital improvements over the
next 10 years.
In February 2015, the Master Plan Update was presented to Gahanna residents. The master plan was built around a series of technical assessment processes to measure the parks & recreation system, as well as the operational management of policies, procedures, parks, facilities, programs and services against best-practices in the state and region.
