Gahanna has a very active adult community and they invite you to come out and participate in the Travel Showcase, events and programs.
Located at 480 Rocky Fork Blvd, the Gahanna Senior Center is a multipurpose facility open to all senior adults ages 55 and over. The Center offers a wide variety of programs and services in such areas as recreation, education, health and human serves, physical fitness, community programs and many volunteer opportunities. The annual membership fee is $20 for residents and $30 for non-residents. All residents and non-residents ages 55+ who register for their 2016 Active Senior Membership during this time will be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket filled with exciting gift cards, discounts, prizes and surprises!

Tour The Center to learn about our year-round program offerings. New visitors will receive information on programs and special events, a chance to win a gift card for attending, and are welcome to enjoy refreshments with our New Welcome Team and Program Supervisor. If Open House times are not conducive to your schedule, please contact the Senior Center to coordinate a tour during business hours.

Programs located at a Gahanna Jefferson school facility (regardless of time), The Center (480 Rocky Fork Blvd.) and Active Senior Programs:
Programs are canceled when Gahanna Jefferson Schools are closed for the day and rescheduled at a later date. The Center closes operations and active senior programs when Gahanna Jefferson Schools are closed.
Active Adult Programs
The Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to offer a variety of new programs for Active Adults. The programs include Picture Books 101; Gram, Gramps and Me!; Western Square Dancing; Paint the Parks; Active Adult Fitness and more!
You do not need to be a member of the Gahanna Senior Center to participate in these programs. Please register through the Department of Parks & Recreation in person at 200 S. Hamilton Road or by calling 614-342-4250.

Active Senior Programs
Membership is required for participation in all programs for Active Seniors. The programs include our Recurring Weekly and Recurring Monthly Activities, Events, Lunch Bunch, Gahanna Garnet Gems and travel programs. Please register in person at the Gahanna Senior Center.
