The City of Gahanna's Geographic Information System Division provides geo-enriched data that is used to better understand the City's built infrastructure, natural environment and public safety needs. This information is shared through GIS viewers that allow users to view, query, analyze and print maps. We strive to create and maintain spatial intelligence to inform the public and ensure City employees are as efficient as possible.
Some of our main responsibilities are to:
- Manage and Update spatial data (240 datasets)
- Process internal map requests and printing
- Provide custom GIS viewers (websites) for internal and external stakeholders
- Update and support Xtrakker mapping application used by the Police Department
- Support and Maintain income generating hosted services for neighboring municipalities
Feel free to explore our online viewers through the links below. These maps provide spatial information within Gahanna’s boundary such as council districts, parks, zoning districts, parcel information, and aerial photography.
