Music in the Park—2008

The Department of Parks & Recreation hosts this FREE family oriented series every summer with the goal of bringing together music and community in our beautiful parks.  Come join us at Friendship Park this summer and enjoy a variety of performers ranging from jazz to the Beatles…whatever your taste in music, we promise you’ll enjoy listening to Music in the Park!

Concert on the Creek—2008

The Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to offer this NEW Saturday concert series at beautiful Creekside Park & Plaza! Come and enjoy Gahanna’s newest public gathering place—Creekside Plaza—while relaxing to the soothing sounds of Dwight Lenox, celebrating Jimmy Buffett style with Parrots of the Caribbean, dancing a jig with Irish band Homeland, or reliving your Bruce Springsteen days with Stone Pony. Come join us the third Saturdays of May-September this year and, whatever your taste in music, we promise you’ll enjoy listening to our Concerts on the Creek!

Classics on the Creek—2008

The Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to offer this NEW Saturday movie series at beautiful Creekside Park & Plaza!  Come and enjoy Gahanna’s newest public gathering plaza—Creekside Plaza—while viewing your favorite classic movies on a giant 16 foot screen.  We’ll screen classic black and white Hollywood staples ranging from drama & suspense, to a timeless love story, to knee slapping comedy.

Saturdays, 9pm start, Creekside Park & Plaza (123 Mill St.)
