Interested in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement with excellent pay and benefits?
Police Officer candidates are required to complete a written exam, a physical fitness exam, and are subject to an in-depth background investigation. The top ranked candidates must then successfully pass an oral board interview. If a conditional offer is made, the candidate must then complete additional screening prior to appointment.
The written exam is conducted through National Testing Network and candidates can register at www.nationaltestingnetwork.com
. After the written exam closing date, candidates with passing scores will be invited to complete an online application and will be scheduled for a physical fitness exam. If an offer is made to a candidate who does not possess a current Ohio Police Officer Training Council Certificate, the training would be conducted at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy.
