Traffic Alert: Granville Street Lane Closure

On Wednesday, February 22, the westbound curb lane on Granville Street, near the location of the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s new Gahanna Branch, will be periodically closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. while crews from AEP replace poles in the area. The lane will also be periodically closed from 11 p.m. that evening until 6 a.m. on Thursday, so crews can transfer lines and reduce the disruption to nearby businesses.

Town Hall Meeting – Comprehensive Parks Master Plan

For the past several months, the City has been working on updating its Comprehensive Parks Master Plan, which will guide the Department of Parks & Recreation in decision-making on policy, operations, maintenance and capital improvements over the next decade. Join us on Tuesday, March 7, at 6 p.m. at City Hall, to hear how your input is guiding the updated plan and the long-term vision for the Department.

The meeting will also be livestreamed HERE on the City’s YouTube channel.

City Council – Special Meeting & Finance Committee

  1. The City Council will hold a Special Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at City Hall (200 S. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230), Council Chambers for the purposes of Executive Session pursuant to Council Rules of Procedure Section 5.40(c) to confer with the City Attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action.
  2. The Finance Committee will meet immediately following the regular Committee of the Whole meeting that begins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at City Hall (200 S. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230), Council Chambers for the purposes of discussion on the 2022 Year End Report.

Olde Ridenour Road Closure

On Thursday, February 9, Olde Ridenour Road will be closed between Chapelfield Road and Rugby Lane while crews repair a water line leak. In order to minimize disruption to travel and safely complete this work, the closure will begin at 8:15 p.m. and last for a few hours. The road is expected to reopen before the Friday morning rush hour. For detour information, please see the map below this message.
