It is pumpkin season! The City of Gahanna is facilitating a Pumpkin Composting location to use when your pumpkins are past their peak. Starting October 18 until December 8, Gahanna residents can dispose of pumpkins in the container in the city maintenance gravel yard at Friendship Park (152 Oklahoma Ave.). Pumpkins will be composted by GoZero, the same compost courier that services Gahanna’s food waste disposal carts.
