Aquatics Programming

Pools open this month! Get ready for a fun summer in Gahanna. 

Splash Pad
The Gahanna Swimming Pool Splash Pad is OPEN for the season, weather permitting, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

During the season, the Splash Pad is an amenity of the pool and only will be available to pool members and those who purchase a day pass during daily operating hours. It will be open and free to the public in the mornings from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., before the pool opens each day, as well as days on which the pool might not open. After the Gahanna Swimming Pool closes for the season on Wednesday, August 14, it will be open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. through Saturday, September 30.

Water Safety Day
Dive into a day dedicated to safety and fun! Join our certified staff as well as various community partners as we cover topics such as proper swimming techniques, basic water rescue skills, and the importance of life jackets.  The Gahanna Parks & Rec Foundation is providing a free puddle-jumper for the first 50 families!

Swimming Lesson Options
This year we are excited to offer a variety of swimming lessons to the community including Group, Parent/Child, and Adaptive lessons with registration opening on Monday, May 20 for the June Session. Find details and register here. 

Hours of Operation
The Hunters Ridge Pool opens for the season on Saturday, May 25 with daily summer hours of 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

The Gahanna Swimming Pool opens for the season on Sunday, May 26 with daily summer hours of 12 – 8 p.m.

Senior Prom
Embrace feeling “Forever Young” at the first annual “Senior” Prom.  Grab a friend, your favorite dress, and get ready to dance the night away.

Parents' Night Out - A Night on the Greens

While you and a partner enjoy 9 holes of golf, our Parks & Recreation staff will provide dinner and entertainment for your children. It's a win-win for the whole family! Details and registration are available here.
