Senior Newsletter

Hello and happy Friday! We hope you all have had a great week. Our First Annual Senior Prom is coming up next Thursday. If you have not done so yet, make sure to sign up at the Senior Center. It will be a fun night to remember. Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you next week. 

Reminder: We will be closed on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day.

Day Trips

Day Trips

May and June Day Trips are now open for registration. There are still spots available for the Cincinnati Reds Game, but the Hocking Hills and Lion King Trips are both waitlist only. You can find a full list of all summer trips here. 

Registration must be completed in person, and credit or debit is the preferred payment method.

5/23 First Annual "Senior" Prom

Embrace feeling "Forever Young" at the first annual Gahanna "Senior" Prom! Grab a friend and your favorite dress and get ready to dance the night away. Formal dress is encouraged but not required. The best part about this prom is that no date is required. Stop by the Senior Center to grab your ticket today! 

  • Tickets cost $10 per person. 
  • Heavy appetizers and dessert will be provided on the night of the event.

Starting May 1, staff will be taking pictures of all members for our scan-in system. 


Be prepared to “say cheese” the next time you stop into the Senior Center.

Were you unable to attend the Ice Cream Social? Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey, which was completed by attendees. Your feedback helps us develop programs and gain insight into what you want to see from the Senior Center. The survey can be found here.

2024-2025 GASAC Members

Congratulations to our newly elected GASAC members. Phia Dimofksi, Rae Dunlap, and Bruce Massau will serve a 2-year term, and Conni Braun will serve a 1-year term.

Wii Bowling Open Practice

Wii Bowling Open Practice – Fridays at 10:00 am.

This is a Nintendo bowling game that anyone can play either standing or sitting. Everyone is invited, and instructions will be provided. If this sounds interesting, then come to one of the following open practice sessions: May 24, May 31, and June 14.
