Pool Membership Reminders

Hello,

Thank you for purchasing a membership with us this season! We are very excited to welcome everyone back for a summer of fun in the sun. A few things to know as a member this season:

1. Membership Key Tags were not mailed out this season. Instead, you can pick those up at the Guest Service desk during your first visit to the pools. Please allow the staff member that you need your key tag. Reminder, if you still have your key tag from last summer those should still be active. You are welcome to use them.
2. Everyone must verify identification, age, and address during their first visit to the pool. This is required for everyone who is age 14 or older. Members who are age 14 years or older are allowed to come to the pool on their own. Verification can be done with a valid Ohio Drivers License, or any other combination of documentation that show address, age (birthday), and a photo. Those who do not have these documents during their first visit will not be allowed entry.
   1. The current weather forecast for Memorial Day weekend predicts rain and scattered thunderstorms, which may result in shorter lines. I encourage you to stop by and complete your verification before the lines get long.
3. Pool Members and Gahanna Residents are allowed to bring non-resident guests. Guests must pay the daily entry fee and have a signed waiver on file, a profile in our system, and show verification documentation during their first visit. Households can be created online here. Waivers are also available here.
4. Members receive discounts on shelter rentals, event entry, and programming. We are currently taking reservations for shelters and our programs are open for registration. You can inquire about programming or renting a shelter at the Guest Service desk or by contacting the Parks & Recreation department at recreation@gahanna.gov or 614-342-4250.
5. Please be kind to our staff! We are working to provide everyone with a safe and fun environment at the pools. Lines may be long during the beginning of the season. Please know that we are working as fast as possible to get everyone entered into our system and into the facility.
