Hello and happy Friday! We hope you all were able to stay cool this week during the heat wave! It was so nice to see everyone at the Summer Solstice Celebration. Remember, we have plenty of other fun activities to celebrate the season including our Hot Dog Grill out next Monday.

Reminder: The Senior Center will be CLOSED July 3 – July 5 for Independence Day

Day Trips

June and July Day Trips are open for registration. A full list of all summer trips can be found here.  Registration must be completed in person, credit or debit is preferred for payment.   

DATE CHANGE! The Scioto Downs Casino trip will now be held Tuesday, July 9 instead of Monday, July 8.  

As a reminder, the August trips will open for registration on Monday, July 1. Trips include the Groovy Plants Ranch, Kayak at Alum Creek, and Springfield Antiques. 

Stop by the Senior Center to view full itineraries for each trip.

July & August Programs

The July and August Senior Spotlight is now available at the Senior Center. Make sure to stop by and get your copy if you have not received one in the mail. 

All July and August programs and activities will open for registration next Thursday, June 27. Program sign-up sheets are now available if you would like to fill out your form in advance.

  • 7/4 Independence Day Parade. If you are riding on the float, please arrive by 9:45 a.m.
