Senior Newsletter

Hello and happy Friday! We hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day and are looking forward to a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend. Despite the shorter week, we had an amazing time together. A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Independence Day parade float. Don't forget to sign up for our upcoming summer events, including the Summer Picnic on July 10th!

Reminders: 

  • Meet the Mayor will be cancelled this coming Tuesday, July 9.
  • The Senior Center will be CLOSED on Wednesday, July 10 for the Summer Picnic.

Day Trips

July and August  Day Trips are open for registration. A full list of all summer trips can be found here. Registration must be completed in person and credit or debit is the preferred payment.??Stop by the Senior Center to view full itineraries for each trip.

July & August Programs

The July and August Programs are now open for registration. Registration forms are available at the Senior Center. Registration must be completed in person at least one week in advance.

Texas Hold 'Em

There will be no Texas Hold ‘Em until July 17. After July 17, Texas Hol ‘Em will resume is normal schedule of every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Summer Picnic - July 10 at 12:30 p.m.

Kick-off the summer season at Gahanna’s Friendship Park. We will have yard games, water games, and a picnic lunch to celebrate the sunny season. The Senior Center will be closed for the Summer Picnic.

GASAC will discuss their regular business. Meetings are open to the public.

You’ll receive so many compliments on the jewelry you can create and wear in this unique class.
