OPERS Lunch and Learns

  • This spring OPERS leadership will offer members a unique opportunity to hear the latest news and information about OPERS. 
  • OPERS leaders will share updates and challenges facing the pension system along with the value of an OPERS pension. Members will receive the latest news on the financial health of the OPERS pension and health care trust funds as well as investment return performance. Those attending will also gain an understanding of how OPERS advocates for members on state and federal legislative issues that could impact their retirement security. Members will be able to submit questions which will be addressed by OPERS leaders during the webinar if time permits.
  • The Lunch and Learn with OPERS Leadership webinars will be held on the Fridays listed below. Members can register for either an 11 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. session.

Wellness with OSU Urgent Care & EAP

  • As a City of Gahanna employee, you can schedule an appointment with our partners at OSU Urgent Care by calling them directly. The number to the Front Desk is 614-366-4578 and their team can be reached during normal business hours for scheduling and questions.   
  • Through our EAP Provider, Bronson HelpNet, you can request non-urgent counseling online quickly and easily. Access the Online Request form for Counseling Services. 

Tuned Hearing Benefit

As part of your Tuned hearing benefit, you can meet with an audiologist to set up and program your Air Pods and iPhones to make hearing health more accessible. As a bonus, Apple has recently received FDA approval for their new Air Pods as the first ‘over-the-counter hearing aid software.’ An upgrade will be coming soon to allow you to program your new Air Pods as hearing devices through Tuned directly.
