Hello and happy Friday! We’re excited to share all the events, programs, and special moments coming up at the Senior Center this month. From birthday celebrations to health presentations and holiday trip registrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

December Trip Registration

Get ready to make your December merry and bright! Registration for all of our festive December trips open Tuesday, November 4 so mark your calendars!

This year’s holiday adventures include:

  • Scrooge! at La Comedia – Enjoy a heartwarming performance and a delicious meal at one of Ohio’s premier dinner theaters.
  • The Nutcracker – Experience the magic of this beloved holiday ballet, a timeless tradition for all ages.
  • Cambridge Christmas – Step back in time with a charming Victorian Christmas celebration, complete with lights, decorations, and holiday cheer.

Alzheimer's Association: Caregiving

Wednesday, November 5 at 10 a.m.

Being a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia is a deeply meaningful role, but it also comes with unique challenges. Join us for a special presentation from the Alzheimer’s Association designed to support those who support others.

This session will cover:

  • The evolving role of a caregiver
  • Emotional and physical changes caregivers may experience
  • How to build a strong support team
  • Practical strategies for managing stress and avoiding burnout
