2025 Reflections & Highlights

As I reflect on my second year in office, I’m most proud of the work we've done and how I showed up for you:

Showing Up for Our Students:

As City Council liaison to Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools, I stayed closely engaged with district leadership, attending Ambassadors meetings, State of Our Schools, and board meetings, while advocating for state and federal policy that protect, not harm. I also connected directly with young people by visiting classrooms, attending student performances, and supporting initiatives like Start With Hello Week, From Classroom to Careers, and youth cash-transfer pilot discussions.

Leading with Inclusion:

I led and co-led resolutions recognizing Black History Month, Disability Pride, Pride Month, Veterans Day, and affirming dignity and belonging for all. I also advocated for fair school funding, mental health access, and housing affordability through policy, letters, and public dialogue.

Building Together:

Through constituent hours, school visits, community events, and ongoing resident communication, I focused on relationship-building, listening across differences, and creating accessible spaces for dialogue on complex issues.

Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me, for the thoughtful dialogue—especially when conversations were hard and for the opportunity to serve alongside you.
