The Shred and E-Recycle Event
Saturday, April 22
Gahanna City Hall, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Join us on Earth Day for our annual Shred & E-Recycle Event! This is a great opportunity to safely shred important family or household documents and drop off your old cell phones, tablets and more to be resold. Gahanna Residents in Need (GRIN) also will be on hand to collect canned goods, non-perishable food, toiletries, and monetary donations. (Please note that GRIN is not able to accept expired food). The Make Gahanna Yours Litter Cleanup Event
Gahanna City Hall, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m
Meet at Friendship Park as Make Gahanna Yours – Cleaner Greener Gahanna hosts their EARTH DAY 2023 community clean-up. Check out the Make Gahanna Yours website to sign up.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day
Saturday, April 22
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Free Seedling Event
Celebrate our planet by picking up a free tree seedling from City Hall (200 S. Hamilton Rd.) between Monday, April 24, and Friday, April 28! Seedlings will be available while supplies last and come with planting instructions. City Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
April 26 is Stop Food Waste Day
Through a partnership with the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) and GoZERO, the City of Gahanna offers a way for residents to recycle food waste by utilizing a food compost drop-off. A limited number of FREE waste collection buckets are still available for those who sign up and stop by City Hall to claim them.
