Kayaks & Paddle Boats Rental Program – Open for the Season
During the warm weather months, Gahanna Parks & Recreation offers kayaking rentals (at Creekside Park Marina and Friendship Park) and paddle boat rentals at Creekside Park. All reservations will now be made through paddlegahanna.com.
Rentals are through reservation only, and will be for 30-minute time blocks. Rentals must have an adult present (age 18+). Reservations are non-refundable. If weather or water conditions are unsafe, reservations will be either refunded or credited towards another day.

Our Parks & Rec team is dedicated to helping Gahanna residents learn the best Water Safety practices. We are sharing resources, information and videos about how to be safe in and around water.

COMMUNITY GARDENS
Community Garden Plots
The Community Gardens at Friendship and Hannah Parks are the perfect places to grow your garden here in Gahanna. Water and compost cans are provided at each location and we have extended the growing season to December 1st this season! Out teams have also made updates to the Hannah Park garden, including new plots as well as the overall garden layout. Updates to our policies and procedures were also made to continue to create a true community garden atmosphere.
- Jan. 18, 2022 –Garden Plots go on sale for renewals (those that had plots in 2021)
- Feb. 1, 2022 – Garden Plots go on sale to the general public. (Limited plots available.)
