If you are interested in an ongoing volunteer or unpaid internship position with the City of Gahanna, please complete the Volunteer Application and return to the Department of Human Resources via email, fax or mail. Any department within the City may be open to hosting a volunteer or unpaid internship and will review your application upon receiving it.

Reserve Police Officers:

Anyone interested in a Reserve Police Officer position must pick up the Reserve Officer application packet from the Human Resources Department.

Golf Course

Volunteer at the Gahanna Golf Course as a player assistant, ranger/marshal/starter, or greeter! Must commit to 2 days a week and have golf experience as well as wonderful people skills. Contact parksandrec@gahanna.gov for more information.

Events & Programs

The Department of Parks & Recreation is always seeking volunteers to help at events and programs. Opportunities range from event setup, community clean ups, running a children’s activity station, etc. For a complete list of volunteer opportunities, please call 614-342-4250.
