On March 11, a contractor is scheduled to begin work to replace the water main located beneath Havens Corners Road, between Hamilton Road and Helmbright Drive. The water mains beneath St. Martin Court and St. Stephens Court will also be replaced. Although this work is scheduled to begin in mid-March, the heaviest construction is expected to begin on April 1 and conclude in mid-June, weather permitting. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times during the project, though traffic barrels will be set up on Havens Corners Road to provide safe room for construction work.
While the water main replacement is under construction, some residents and businesses in the surrounding area may experience a short interruption in water service, lasting no more than four hours. Those impacted will be notified at least 24 hours before any service interruption begins.
