Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council – Seeking Applicants

Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council (Seat 3, three-year term) 
Appointing Authority: City Council 
Application Deadline: October 18, 2024, 12:00 PM 
Description: Applications are open for an appointment by City Council to the City of Gahanna’s Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) Housing Council, which is a board of seven members who work closely with the City’s Department of Economic Development.  

• The CRA Housing Council conducts annual property inspections for Gahanna’s CRAs, acts as an appellate board for tax abatement disputes, and recommends approval of the annual tax abatement report filed with the state.  

• The board meets at least once per year. Meetings are convened by the Department of Economic Development. 

• This is a volunteer position. The term runs from January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2027.
