On Thursday, June 12, Franklin County Public Health will spray for mosquitos in the west side of Gahanna as a result of the number of mosquitos detected there. While these are not the species that can carry West Nile virus, the purpose of this spray event is to reduce the number of nuisance/floodwater mosquitos in the area. The spray will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
