Nationwide Energy Partners and The Arbor Day Foundation donated 64 swamp white oak trees to the City, and we want to give them to you. Beginning Wednesday, December 6, the trees will be available for Gahanna residents on a first-come, first-serve basis. All you need to do is stop by the Parks Garage at Friendship Park (152 Oklahoma Avenue), between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., to pick up your tree. Proof of residency in the City is required. One tree will be provided to each household, until they are all distributed. The giveaway will continue on weekdays as long as the trees are available.
