At last night’s meeting, City Council voted unanimously to join Sustainable Ohio Public Energy Council (SOPEC) with the goal of creating a Community Choice Aggregation Program for city residents. This was the first step toward helping residents realize reduced energy costs under this program. In the coming weeks, City Council will host two (2) public hearings to discuss the adoption of SOPEC’s Operations and Governance Plan.
