On Thursday, August 29, Franklin County Public Health will spray in the west side of Gahanna as a result of the number of mosquitos caught in a trap there. The purpose of this spray event is to reduce the number of nuisance/floodwater mosquitos in the area. These are not the species that can carry West Nile virus. The spray will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
