[ARCHIVED] Great Gahanna Goblin Fest Returns on Friday, October 25

Great Gahanna Goblin Fest

The City of Gahanna’s Great Gahanna Goblin Fest, presented by KEMBA Financial Credit Union, will be held on Friday, October 25 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Academy Park (1201 Cherry Bottom Road). The annual event will include trick or treat stations, hayrides, performers, food options, and many fun surprises. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes, and kids are invited to bring their trick or treat bags to collect a variety of sweet treats.

“The Great Gahanna Goblin Fest is one of the most popular events in the City each year,” said Mayor Laurie Jadwin. “It is so enjoyable to see our community come together in the Halloween spirit for an evening of spooky fun that appeals to all ages.”

In addition to the trick or treat stations, the Goblin Fest will feature live entertainment, including stilt walkers, fire breathers, science experiments and more.

“The Goblin Fest is an event that children and adults have come to love over the years,” said Stephania Ferrell, Gahanna Parks & Recreation Director. “The Parks & Recreation team strives to create memorable events for the community year-round, and this year’s Goblin Fest is sure to be the latest unforgettable evening for all who attend.”

Admission to the Great Gahanna Goblin Fest is free, while the hayride will cost $2 per rider. Hayride tickets may only be purchased by credit card at the event. Several food trucks will be onsite for attendees to purchase food, and beer will be available for purchase by credit card.

Free offsite parking will be available at 1375 Cherry Way Drive and 1356 Cherry Way Drive.  A free shuttle will be available to transport guests between 1356 Cherry Way Drive and a drop-off point near the Park’s entrance. The shuttle will begin operating at 5:30 p.m. and will run through the end of the event. Parking onsite at Academy Park is available at a cost of $5 with advanced registration.
