E Shred and Recycle Event flyer in Gahanna

Clear out the clutter and help your community at Gahanna’s upcoming Shred & E-Recycle event, happening Saturday, April 20 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the City Hall parking lot (200 S Hamilton Rd). Please note: entry is only accessible from S Hamilton Rd.

This free event is open to Gahanna residents only and offers a safe, convenient way to dispose of sensitive documents and electronic waste. Each vehicle may bring up to five (5) standard-size paper grocery bags or equivalent of paper for shredding. Friendly staff will be available on-site to assist with unloading items.

Important reminders:

  • No early drop-offs – items will only be accepted between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

  • No late entries – cars will not be permitted to enter after noon.

  • Rain or shine – the event will proceed regardless of weather unless there is lightning.

In the spirit of giving back, Gahanna Residents in Need (GRIN) will also be onsite accepting donations. Items needed include:

  • Tuna

  • Tomato products (spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, etc.)

  • Toilet paper

  • Monetary donations

  • Any non-perishable food items

SWACO will also be hosting their annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day at the Kroger Marketplace in Hunters Ridge Shopping Center (300 S. Hamilton Rd.) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Franklin County residents can stop by to quickly and safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
