On Thursday, June 26, Franklin County Public Health will spray for mosquitos in the south side of Gahanna as a result of the number of mosquitos detected there. The purpose of this spray event is to reduce the number of nuisance/floodwater mosquitoes in the area, although these are not the species that can carry West Nile virus. The spray will begin at 9 p.m., weather permitting.
