Councilmember Renner moved to Gahanna in 1998. He has served on council since 2012 and served as president in 2013 and 2016. Before serving on council, Renner was a member of City of Gahanna's Civil Service Commission from 2008 through 2011. Outside his role for the City of Gahanna, he is the director of the Franklin County Department of Sanitary Engineering, providing water and sewer services in unincorporated areas of Franklin County. Councilmember Renner is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Columbus and a Certified Tourism Ambassador through Experience Columbus. Renner is married to Melissa and has two children. His term ends December 2025.
