We’re excited to announce that new AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are coming to Gahanna parks!
Your safety is our priority, and these life-saving devices will help to provide peace of mind while you enjoy the outdoors in Gahanna. The climate-controlled cabinets will automatically sound an alarm and alert emergency dispatch when accessed, ensuring that help is on the way when needed the most!
The new AEDs are currently being installed at:
- Friendship Park
- Creekside Plaza
- Upper McCorkle Park
- Sunpoint Park
- Woodside Green Park
- Academy Park
- Headley Park
- Hannah Park
The AEDs are expected to be fully operational in the above eight parks in the next few weeks. A ninth AED will be installed at Shull Park later this year. Keep an eye out for these lifesaving devices and stay tuned for updates when they are fully activated!
