With the cold weather settling in, the City of Gahanna reminds the community that the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) offers home energy efficiency (weatherization) and safety services at no cost to income-eligible residents. These services help keep homes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and they are available year-round to Franklin County residents. The following are examples of services offered at no cost:
- Repair or replacement of furnaces and water heaters
- Attic and sidewall insulation
- Air sealing
- A full home energy inspection
- Safety checks on appliances
