Leading the community in partnership for parks and recreation, the Foundation is committed to conserving and improving the quality of Gahanna’s parks for current and future generations. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer-run organization that was founded to assist the Gahanna Department of Parks & Recreation in supporting needs of parks, facilities and recreation programming.
The Gahanna Parks & Recreation Foundation provides scholarships for aquatic and youth memberships and programs, including swimming lessons. Scholarship eligibility is determined by eligibility for the Gahanna-Jefferson Free/Reduced lunch program or overall family household income.
