In Person

The public is welcome to address all Council Members during Regular Council Meetings. Before the meeting commences, complete a speaker slip and submit it to the Clerk. During the “Hearing of Visitors” section of the agenda, you will be called to the podium, asked to state your name and given three minutes to speak.

Virtually

Individuals wishing to provide public comment regarding an item on a noticed meeting’s agenda but unable to attend in-person may submit a recorded video by 5:00 pm on the day of the noticed meeting for Council to view during the appropriate time on the agenda.

    Individuals wishing to provide public comment regarding an item on a noticed meeting’s agenda but unable to attend in-person may submit a recorded video by 5:00 pm on the day of the noticed meeting for Council to view during the appropriate time on the agenda. Submissions meeting the requirements below will be played in chambers and livestreamed at the City Council meeting. By submitting this video you consent to having the content become part of the public record and livestreamed on the City's YouTube page.

    • You must state your name and address for the record.
    • You must display your face at all times during the video.
    • You must state and address  only  the specific item on the noticed meeting’s agenda for which your comments apply.
    • You have three minutes (3), total, to complete your remarks.

    The Chair reserves the right to end and/or not publish the video should it disrupt the decorum of the meeting or to not comply with the requirements above. This could include videos that contain offensive language or objectionable material.
