Property Registration & Maintenance Requirements

City Ordinance 0053-2018 requires all owners of residential rental properties in the City to register biennially (every two years). All properties will be inspected through rental registration to ensure they comply with the City's property maintenance code. Approved rental permits are valid for two years and expire on December 31 of the second year. 

All rental properties are required to register between January 1 and March 15. Beginning in 2024, the City began using a new online registration software, OpenGov. Applications can be submitted using the link below.
